The book Parenting the Ephraim's Child: Characteristics, capabilities, and challenges of children who are intensely MORE (Horizon Publishers, Nov. 2004), by Deborah Talmadge and Jaime Theler, is a valuable resource for LDS parents trying to understand their intense, strong-willed child.
Although Parenting The Ephraim's Child contains a wealth of information, we are still learning as we talk with others who are raising Ephraim's Children. This website is for all of us to learn, grow, and support each other.

As an adult Ephraim's Child herself, Deborah Talmadge has an inside look on what makes Ephraim's Children tick. Jaime Theler (Deborah's daughter) is the parent of three Ephraim's Children. We do know how challenging and puzzling daily life can be. We also know how Ephraim's Children can delight and inspire you as well.
We want to help every parent, grandparent, teacher, and family to understand, raise, and above all, enjoy their Ephraim's Child. This website is devoted to that purpose. Thank you for being here!

Deborah Talmadge and Jaime Theler are available to speak to groups for Enrichment nights, Firesides, Book Clubs, or even just a group of friends in your home. For now they will speak free of charge. A variety of presentations are available. Most presentations last one hour, but can be adjusted to your time needs.
